Help Finish the Fight Against MNT
Through The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus—a deadly disease that steals the lives of 34,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year.
Now, more than ever, we are determined to finish what we started. Mothers and babies in 14 remaining countries are depending on Kiwanis. They’re waiting for us to fulfill our pledges—so we can turn promises into funding; funding into vaccines; and vaccines into lives saved and futures protected. The end of this disease means the beginning of better health for so many of these families.
In Indiana, Kiwanis pledged $2.3 million of the total $110 million pledged by Kiwanis worldwide. To date, Indiana Kiwanis clubs and members have raised $1.5 million in cash and pledges. We have just $800,000 remaining to raise by the end of 2020. We can do it!
To get to our pledge goal, Hoosier Kiwanians and friends of Kiwanis are asked to consider making an individual pledge to help complete the project. We need:
- 200 pledges at $50.00/month for 24 months
- 400 pledges at $25.00/month for 24 months
- 900 pledges at $15.00/month for 24 months
