Welcome to the Indiana District of Kiwanis Speaker's Bureau. The Speaker's Bureau is a listing of individuals and organizations across Indiana that have expressed interest in speaking to Kiwanis Clubs. The organizations or individuals listed on the Speaker's Bureau is in no way endorsed by the Indiana District of Kiwanis or Kiwanis International.
Clubs may use the listing at their discretion to locate speakers for meetings. Clubs should use the information provided to personally contact the individual or organization to make arrangements.
If an individual or organization wishes to be placed on the Speaker's Bureau, they should use the following guidelines:
- Clearly indicates who to contact and by what method
- Includes individual and/or company being represented
- Includes a single sentence for the topic of the presentation
- Specify in which areas of the state the speaker is available
- Gives a four to five sentence description of the presentation
- All submissions must be submitted via email attachment in Microsoft Word to indkiw@indkiw.org
- No pictures, special fonts, or color will be used

The Family Prison Visit Ministry is an Indianapolis -based ministry that takes family members to visit inmates all over Indiana. The reason is family visits dramatically reduce the number of return visits to prison. This program will provide Kiwanis members with answers to their tax questions and information on the latest tax issues. Their Community Speakers Bureau can arrange for a tax professional to speak to any local Kiwanis group, customizing a presentation to cover members’ particular areas of interest.

The Pennies for Patients program is a community service project and fundraiser benefiting the Society's mission, conducted in Indiana schools, K-12. Clicking on the link above you may register or find out more about signing up a school. Schools raise funds in honor of local "heroes" which are children that have been diagnosed with a blood cancer. The unique thing about the program is kids are helping kids, because leukemia is the number one disease killer of children under 20.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would like to share their mission with clubs and to solicit help in registering school groups for this program to be conducted in February and March 2006.

Emily Munson, Ms. Wheelchair Indiana, 2009 is 24 years old, an Indianapolis resident and proud Hoosier. She currently attends Indiana University, Indianapolis where she is completing her juris doctorate and Master's degree in Philosophy.
She hopes to pursue a career in international disability rights law, which she has incorporated elements of into her platform "Wheel Be Ready: Emergency Preparedness in the Disability Community."
Emily has spinal muscular atrophy and uses a power wheelchair. In her spare time, she plays power soccer and enjoys writing and traveling.
Her speech on emergency preparedness is an eye opening and potentially policy-changing look at what happens to those who are dependent upon others to help them in times of emergency without adequate planning.
