Kiwanis Club of North Manchester
The club purchases six books, 17 copies of each, for the class. Six members each read one book during the school year to the class. A copy of the book goes home with each student and one copy stays in the classroom library.

The club purchases two books for nine pre-school classrooms. Kiwanis members read the books to each class and then gift them with the book.

BUSY HANDS OF MICHIANA
Knute Rockne Memorial Kiwanis of Granger
Members work with Busy Hands of Michiana to make items for young children on the autism spectrum, those who are visually impaired or have other special needs: fidget toys, weighted stuffed animals, vests and blankets, and other specialized items as requested by area therapists.

MALAWI PROJECT – BABY PACKS FOR LIFE
Kiwanis Club of Lebanon
The club purchased and assembled 25 maternal care kits for expectant mothers, providing potentially lifesaving support in sub-Saharan Africa. Items include: 0–3-month Onesie, Baby hat, Baby washcloth, Mother washcloth, Baby receiving blanket, Piece of cloth for baby to lay on after delivery, Large black garbage bag on which to deliver, Sanitary Pad x 2, Small zip lock bag containing: – Bar of soap – Razor blade – 2 pair of rubber gloves – Umbilical ties x 2

FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana
The club purchases electronic LeapFrog books, sensory toys and other items for the child’s first birthday as well as gifts for mom. It shows both mom and baby community support. All moms are part of the Nurse-Family Partnership program.

KIWANIS READING CIRCLE
Kiwanis Club of Scottsburg
The Scottsburg club collaborates with their local library, and early learning centers to provide hands on reading to preschoolers, including music, snacks, and crafts. The Scottsburg High School Key Club joins in the fun and provides volunteers.

The Portage club partners with a corporate member to organize a community baby shower and donates diapers.
