The Young Children Priority One (YCPO) committee has compiled a comprehensive resource list of organizations to help clubs identify community needs and develop meaningful YCPO projects that make a lasting local impact.

The committee also encourages clubs to seek out local organizations who serve children birth to age five.

Through professional development, advocacy, and family resources, we empower educators, support early learning programs, and help families access high-quality child care and education.

Indiana Diaper Bank empowers families in Indiana by providing a reliable and adequate supply of diapering essentials.

Indiana First Steps helps Hoosier families make sure their infants and toddlers receive services now to help them in the future. Services through First Steps are designed to meet the developmental needs of the child; Except in limited circumstances, First Steps does not provide services to meet medical needs.

Indiana Head Start Association provides resources and guidance for all Indiana Head Start programs through advocacy, professional development.

VIPS empowers families by providing educational excellence to young children with blindness or low vision in order to build a strong foundation for reaching their highest potential.

Indiana School for the Deaf Early Childhood Education offers children a place where they can gain language through incidental learning the same way hearing children learn language by listening, instead they do it by watching language around them!

St. Joseph Hearing + Speech  delivers exceptional Listening and Spoken Language solutions for children with hearing loss. St. Joseph’s Preschool and Primary School programs help students transition into their locals schools with language and academic skills that match their typically hearing peers. (CENTRAL INDIANA)

WIC (Women, Infants & Children) is a nutrition program, nationally recognized as an effective means for improving access to nutritious foods and promoting healthier eating and lifestyles. The Indiana WIC Program serves an average of 153,000 women, infants, and children each month through a statewide network of 174 WIC clinics (including hospital sites).

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and Republic of Ireland.

First Five Years Fund works to protect, prioritize, and build bipartisan support for quality child care and early learning programs at the federal level.
