Bike Safety Rodeo

Kiwanis Club of Portage, Modern Woodmen and Portage Fire Department are sponsoring a Bike Safety Rodeo on Saturday, July 30, 10 til noon at Willowcreek Middle School. The event, which is free and open to all children in the community, will be held in the parking lot in front of the school. Pre-registration is not required. All participants will receive a free custom-fitted helmet. We are targeting children ages 4 thru 12 who will learn about traffic safety basics as a bicyclists .The course will teach the importance of wearing a bike helmet, basic rules of the road, hand turn signals and basic traffic safety signs
